After spending more than 100 nights on Horn Island (off the coast of Biloxi, MS) and following my favorite artist Walter Anderson, I endeavored on a book project dedicated to "my newly expected little islander." Created during the summer of 2004, "20 Animals on Horn Island" features original acrylic paintings of some of my favorite creatures encountered during my time on the island.
Below represents select giclee prints reproduced from those original works. These high-quality prints are printed on archival paper at high resolution and are limited editions of 10 prints each. All are printed on 19" x 13" paper. Image sizes are indicated next to the title followed by the number of prints remaining in each edition in parenthesis. All prints are $50 (not incuding shipping).
Giclee is a French term meaning "to spray", referring to how the ink is distributed on the printer using small spraying devices that can both match color and apply ink precisely, resulting in high-quality print of the original painting.
